Welcome to the Adelaide International Women’s Day Breakfast supporting UN Women Australia. The Adelaide breakfast is the largest event celebrating IWD in Australia and it is the largest annual women’s event in the Adelaide calendar. This event was established in Adelaide in 1993 and has tremendous support from the Adelaide community raising $100,000 in 2022.

We were delighted to have Senator the Hon Penny Wong as host of this event. Funds raised at the event were donated to UN Women Australia.

The 2022 event was an all-virtual event due to ongoing uncertainties created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The pandemic has significantly disadvantaged millions of women and as a result we need your support more than ever to help us raise funds to support UN Women Australia’s projects in the Asia-Pacific region.

We hope that you will continue to support the magnificent work of UN Women Australia; and our event from all over Australia. We encourage you to use this as an opportunity to fundraise for UN Women Australia by hosting smaller events and watching the virtual breakfast with your friends and colleagues.

The Adelaide IWD Breakfast is organized by a volunteer committee. For further information, please contact us.

quote-startThe IWD Breakfast is a great opportunity to celebrate our achievements, while also remembering the struggles faced by women around the world to this day. As a past attendee I have always left refreshed and inspired by the amazing women I’ve met, and the conversations we’ve had.quote-end
